In Dredark, you take command of a flying battleship in a 2D aerial world. Build a massive dreadnought with many guns and a large crew, or a small agile ship for a few friends. The game offers multiple ways to play, from fighting other ships for loot to peacefully farming bots and mining resources. When you first spawn, load your turrets by grabbing ammo boxes and clicking on them. Use Q to drop items and your fabricator to craft new ones. Stock up on ammo and shield boosters, and consider crafting ship embiggeners to add more fabricators, cargo, and turrets.

To pilot your ship, click the orange helm wheel to zoom out. Control zoom with scrolling or C, and move with WASD. Aim and fire orange RC turrets from the helm; other turrets need manual control. Press Space to exit the helm. Start by finding bots (large red circles) and shoot them for materials, which you load into your fabricator to craft more items. Use the Team Manager menu to control who joins your ship, set it to public or invite-only, and share links with friends. Manage your ship's shields carefully, as they regenerate passively but can be quickly repaired with shield boosters. If shields reach zero, a 30-second critical timer starts; if not repaired, your ship is destroyed. Ships without crew are destroyed after 60 seconds unless in a safe zone with over 10,000 points, saving them for a few hours. Most items can be crafted, but advanced weapons come from rare bot drops or mining. Breaker ammo mines world blocks, with diamond blocks containing rare loot. Choose ammo wisely: Standard for fast reload, Scattershot for wide spread, Sniper for straight-line bounce, Flak for high damage, Trash for free crafting, Punch and Yank for pushing objects, and Breaker for mining. Optimize your ship layout with designated cargo holds or containers for fabricator items. The game updates weekly, so use in-game Help and Quick Start for the latest tips.
